Moving Your Household Goods (International)
ARSI’s relationship with established freight forwarders and international carriers provides the global expertise you need to ensure your relocation policy is met, international expenses are controlled and expatriates are fully prepared for moving their belongings overseas.
Surface and Air Shipments
ARSI coordinates the shipment of the assignees household goods via surface, sea and/or air shipment in accordance with your global relocation policy. The assignee will be advised on the move process including coordination with appropriate host country immigration and/or customs requirements, documentation, and transit times. A pre-move survey will be conducted to identify what will shipped and what will be placed in storage.
Storage of Household Goods
ARSI can arrange short and long term storage in the home country and/or building access in the host location. Storage needs outside of policy will be at the Transferee’s expense and will be arranged with the van line as a personal expense/responsibility.
Insurance & Claims Management
Prevention and preparation are the best defense against loss or damage during a move. ARSI works closely with the assignee to ensure they take proper measures to avoid unnecessary damage or claims. ARSI provides a choice of insurance options for the company and assignee. We recommend that insurance be provided to protect your transferee’s belongings during their move. On those occasions when loss or damage occurs, ARSI will manage the process to assure fast and effective resolution.
Household Goods Audit
ARSI also provides a comprehensive audit of all invoices making sure that the assignee and the client are paying for services authorized and provided.
